Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment
A Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is produced every three years. It looks at the current provision of pharmaceutical services across the Swindon Health and Wellbeing area which are provided as part of the National Health Service (NHS), and seeks to identify if the provision meets the current and future needs of the population. It is a key tool to support the commissioning intentions for pharmaceutical services and other services that could be delivered by community pharmacies and other providers.
