The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) provides an overview of the current and future health and wellbeing needs of people in Swindon.
The JSNA presents key facts, intelligence and challenges for a wide range of public health topics which are organised under 5 thematic areas: People and the community, Place, Starting Well, Living and Working well, and Ageing Well. Many of the health topics included within are also examined in greater detail in separate health needs assessments.
The updated JSNA predominantly reflects the publication of Census 2021 statistics and includes more up to date information for Swindon on demographics; active travel and transport; air quality; employment, skills and the economy; safeguarding children and young people; general health; disabilities; carers.
